Lone Pine Hotel Penang - a large old 6" Creamer, made in England by Dunn Bennett a member of Royal Doulton group. I've a lot of other wares like butter, soup and dinner plates exactly the same design. Lone Pine hotel was established in1948, the oldest hotel in Batu Ferringhi. At the moment is a luxury 5 star boutique hotel. This ware belongs to the early establishment. This a rare Chinese stoneware glazed pot with underglazed incised motif of two Ming-style dragons on each side of the pot. It could be a medicinal or wine pot which I'm not very sure. Price: USD$500

  1. This item is a multi-spouted flower holder. Similar shapes excist in Chinese porcelain, Dutch (and European)Delftware and Islamic pottery, mainly Iranian from the Safavid period.
